K15 Celebrations

Join us in 2014 as the community of Knoydart celebrate 15 years since the buy-out! 

We have an exciting programme of activities to be announced, including:

Words from the Wild – a book festival with various luminaries attending

Monthly Music – being held in association with Inverie Village Hall

K15 Runs – come and compete against the locals in a remote run!

…and lots more. Keep an eye on this page over the next couple of weeks to find out more. 

Here is an initial timetable:

Saturday 19th April: Easter Bazaar, followed by Fras (ceilidh)

Monday 21st April: join the locals for a beach clean with the Ranger Service

Saturday 24th May: Music – James Hickman and Dan Cassidy

Friday 4th – Sunday 6th July: Words from the Wild

Friday 18th July: Music – the talented Barluath  

Friday 25th July: Music – Sotho Sounds: Funky shepherds from Lesotho, who use instruments made from oil cans, tyres and wood!

Wednesday 30th July: Gael Music present Luke Daniels and the New World Drovers

Saturday 2nd August: Knoydart Games, followed by the mighty Breabach

Saturday 30th August: Craft Fair and K15 Run Knoydart

Saturday 20th September: Music in the Hall: The Last September and The Dead Man’s Waltz

Friday 10th October: Music night
